The newly emerging residential project at Žižkov was won by the Dutch studio Benthem Crouwel Architects and the Czech studio RA15!
About 160 candidates from all over the world registered for the international architectural competition. 44 architectural studios participated in the finals, with only 5 of them advancing into the grand finale where an independent professional jury unanimously voted for the Dutch and Czech Studio. Their concept for 450 apartments surprised not only by the architecture itself but also by the integration of a 1-hectare large central park. The construction is planned to start in 2021. An exhibition of all 44 architectural designs will take place in the near future.
