The architectural works on the building site of the Hybernská Hotel are still ongoing and they are gradually revealing more and more gems

These discoveries include, for instance, the second tower of the Gothic Mountain Gate, an underground reinforced concrete tank of a circular floor plan; which supplied water to the steam locomotives during the First republic, and also the Baroque Bastion of St. Nicholas.
