Penta Real Estate announces four architectural competitions that will determine the future shape of the new city blocks in the western part of the Florence area. Three years ago, Penta, in cooperation with the city administration and the city districts, launched the international urban design competition Florenc21, which managed to find a general consensus on how this important part of Prague should be transformed in the coming years.
“We are very appreciative that not only the city council and the Institute of Planning and Development, but also representatives of all the districts concerned and the professional and lay public have been involved in this dialogue.”
The four competitions running in parallel will have one common competition jury established according to the rules of the Czech Chamber of Architects and one coordination group to ensure that the outcome of the competitions forms a diverse but harmonious whole.
The aim of the competitions is to select the best architectural teams that will transform Florenc into an architecturally and functionally varied, lively district.
